Booking

It is important that all clients read and understand the terms and conditions and terms of services prior to attending an appointment. All terms and conditions are non-negotiable. If you book an appointment via call, text or through our online booking system it confirms that you have read, understood and agreed to all our terms and conditions. All deposits are non-refundable, and can only be transferred to your next appointment if it rescheduled 48 hours prior. All deposits are made to secure your appointment and are deductible from the total at the time of your appointment.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so before 48 hours of your appointment to allow your deposit to be transferred to your new rescheduled time. If you wish to reschedule or cancel an appointment within 48 hours the deposit will be forfeited and not refunded or transferred to another appointment, this includes any unforeseeable circumstances such as ‘car issues/accidents’, ‘family emergencies’, ‘sick’, etc. If you do not show up to your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited.

Appointment reminders

48 hours prior to your appointment you will receive a confirmation via text message with a confirmation link, you can click this link to confirm your appointment. Please note that the salon runs mainly on appointments, walk-ins if there is sufficient time.

Punctuality

Please arrive to your appointment on time. We run our salon by appointments with walk-ins welcome to avoid long wait times. If you are early to your appointment you may be asked to wait in the waiting area. If you are late to your appointment please give us a call on 0424 839 760 to let us know. Any clients late of 10 minutes, we may cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Payments and Refunds

Payments can be made in cash or eftpos at the end of your appointment. The Artistry Sydney does not offer any refunds of any completed service. If you are unsatisfied with the service please advise your lash, brow or nail artist before leaving the salon to allow us time to fix it.

Reactions

The Artistry Sydney is not under any circumstance responsible for any allergic/adverse reactions to products or methods used. If you are unsure of a product you may book in a patch test.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

If you wish to reschedule any appointment, please do so before 48 hours to allow your deposit to be transferred to your rescheduled appointment. If you reschedule or cancel within 48 hours, your deposit will be forfeited. Please understand that we do run by appointments and any cancellations will affect the time of our artists. This includes all unforeseeable circumstances.

Privacy and Confidentiality

All information taken is stored privately, and is viewed by The Artistry Sydney Team only for record keeping purposed. Please be aware that our salon is under 24 hour surveillance.

Booking eyebrow appointments

If you book an appointment via call, text or through our online booking system it confirms that you have read, understood and agreed to all our terms and conditions and have and release the therapist/technician/The Artistry/Ung Beauty Pty Ltd from the following.

Pain: Although topical numbing is used, there still may be pain as anaesthetics works better on some people than on others.

Infection: Infection is very unusual, the areas treated must be kept completely clean. We use one-use sterilised disposable tools that are discarded right after the appointment.

Uneven pigmentation: This can result from poor healing, infection, bleeding or many other causes. Your perfection touch up appointment will likely correct un-even appearance

Asymmetry: All efforts will be made to avoid asymmetry, though all faces are not symmetrical so adjustments may need to made during your perfection touch up appointment. Botox/fillers in the face may effect the look of the microblading or if you have had a previous tattoo on the brows, we may not be able to correct the shape.

Excessive swelling or bruising: Some people may bruise and swell more than others. Icepacks may help reduce swelling. The swelling or bruising typically appears in 1-5 days. Some people may not bruise or swell. Please note that if the bruising or swelling is concerning, please see your doctor immediately for advice as there may be an allergic reaction.

Anaesthetics: Topical anaesthetics are used to numb the area where it is to be tattooed. Lidocaine, Prilocaine, Benzocaine, Tetracaine and/or Epinephrine cream and/or liquid are used. If you are are allergic to any of these, please inform The Artistry/Technician prior to applying numbing cream.

Pigments: The pigments used include the following: Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Alcohol, Water, Witch Hazel, Antioxidant formula, Non toxic pigment blend, Plant extract.

MRI: because pigments used in permanent and semi-permanent cosmetic procedures contain inert oxides, please inform the MRI technician of any tattoos or permanent/semi permanent tattoos.

Allergic Reaction: There is always a possibility of an unknown allergic reaction to the materials used during the procedure. It is important to let The Artistry or technician know if you have any allergies to metals, foods or others.

I understand that this information is designed to give information and knowledge needed to make an informed decision/choice of whether or not to undergo Eyebrow microblading, Semi - permanent make up application. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Although Eyebrow microblading and semi-permanent make up application is effective in most cases, no guarantee can be made that a specific client will benefit from the procedure.

This is the process of inserting pigment into the basal layer of the epidermis. It is a form or tattooing, though semi-permanent, it is considered permanent marking.

All instruments that enter the skin or come in contact with the body fluid are disposable, and disposed of after used. Cross contamination guidelines are strictly adhered to.

Generally, the results are excellent. However, a perfect result is not a realistic expectation. It is unusual and advised to expect a perfection touch up after healing is completed.

Initially the colour will appear more vibrant or darker compared to the end result. Usually within 7-14 days the colour will fade around 30-40%, soften and look more natural. The pigment is semi-permanent and will fade over time. Additional touch-ups are likely needed within 6 - 24 months.

I give permission to use the photos taken before, during and after procedure to be used for advertising and professional uses only.

I have been informed of the nature, risk and possible complications and consequences of
microblading. I understand that this procedure carries with it known and unknown
complications and consequences associated with this type of cosmetic procedure, including
but not limited to infection, redness, irritation to the eyes or fading of pigments. I am aware
that there may be redness or irritation to the eyes for the first few days, and if this continues it
is my responsibility to seek advice from a doctor.
There is a possibility of an allergic reaction to the pigments. A patch test is advisable,
however it will not ensure that I will not have an allergic reaction. I consent/waive the patch
test. If waived, I release The Artistry and/ Ung Beauty Pty Ltd from liability if I develop an allergic reaction to the
pigment.
I understand that it is my responsibility to advise the therapist/technician/The Artistry/Ung Beauty Pty Ltd of the following:
a. If I am using any retinol medications or creams;
b. If I am using any medication;
c. If I am using any acne creams;
d. If I have any known allergies.
I release the The Artistry/Ung Beauty Pty Ltd from liability if I have not disclosed any of the above.
I consent to the following:
a. The use of strip wax and hot wax;
b. The use of oils and soothing cream;
c. Photos to be taken and used for professional and advertising reasons.
In the case of reaction or acne to the above, I release the technician from liability and I will
not take any action against the technician/therapist at law or in equity. I understand that my
therapist will take all necessary precautions to prevent risk from occurring during the
procedure and release them from all liability when assuming these risks.
I understand that I am responsible for all after care and will adhere to all post procedure
recommendations made by my therapist to ensure the best quality of service.
